Snail Points is a free classroom tool run by one person. By signing in, you agree to these terms.
Your responsibilities
- Get any approval your school or district requires before using Snail Points with student information, and follow their rules and the laws that apply to you.
- Enter only what the board needs: first names, or a first name and last initial. Don't enter full names or other information about students.
- Use it for classroom points. Don't try to break, overload, or get into anyone else's data.
Your account
You sign in with Google, and only your account can open your boards. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time with "Delete account" in the menu. Accounts used to attack or abuse the site may be suspended or deleted.
Your data
What you put in Snail Points is yours. It is used only to run the site, as described on the privacy page.
No guarantees
Snail Points is provided as is, for free. It may have bugs, go down, or lose data, and there is no promise it will always be available. Don't rely on it as the only record of anything important, such as grades.
To the extent the law allows, the person who runs Snail Points is not liable for any damages from using it or being unable to use it.
Changes and shutting down
Features may change over time. If Snail Points shuts down, there will be at least 30 days' notice on this site before your data is deleted.
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Snail Points after that means you accept the new terms.
